It is a modified Zenair 601XL; due to the modifications, only the fuselage remains in its original form. The wings, control surfaces, flaps, elevator, rudder and landing gear have all been modified. It flies very smoothly. It is also suitable for novice pilots. Cruising speed is around 170 km/h. It has dual brakes and dual controls. The propeller is a Kiewprop, adjustable on the ground. Climb rate at 120 km/h is 5 m/s. EFIS and artificial horizon from SkyLaboratories. You’ve no doubt spotted this aircraft at various events, as it’s fitted with a smoke system, which creates a stunning effect during flight demonstrations.
