SOPPE Twin with a Subaru engine

As part of its efforts to acquire a more modern club aircraft, Deltaklub Stichovice is offering a two-seater SOPPE Twin microlight, manufactured in 2002.  Subaru E81 engine with a gear reducer. The original Subaru engine was replaced a few years ago with a newer unit, and the fuel and exhaust systems were fully modernised at the same time. The current engine has only clocked up 140 hours! The airframe has 950 hours; the condition varies, but the aircraft is still flying! Basic flight and engine instruments. Recently completed conversion of the main landing gear to a Zenair STOL leg, including new wheels and all tyres. Cable-operated drum brakes, controlled by foot pedals from the left seat. Intercom, Icom 8.33 radio. A very smooth and predictable aircraft without flaps, suitable for touring and training! Cruising speed 80–130 km/h. VNE 160 km/h. Fuel consumption 8 to 10 litres of N95 per hour. Fuel tank behind the seats – 30 litres.
